Auckland City Tilt Shift by Mrshinyredplanet Auckland City Tilt Shift by Mrshinyredplanet
This is a faked tilt shift shot, meant to look like miniature. I took this photo a while ago, and only stumbled upon it rather recently.

Canon 20d, 18-55mm.

Looks sick, well done. i think that the fall off is a bit harsh though, as in the gradation between the gaussian blur and the focus plane changes too abruptly. I'm just being picky though, it certainly makes it looks miniature, which was your objective.

You'll see I foolishly shot this on f/4.0 - This was when I was just getting my new camera and getting used to it.

Yeah, next time I'd probably have a slightly sharper core, hopefully, and a higher angle to emphasis the 'miniature' look.

This is epic pro. Actually looks like a toy city. Big ups for a big photo
